L’11 dicembre, l’Ambasciatore della Repubblica Ceca Hana Hubáčková ha incontrato a Roma una delegazione dell´Associazione interparlamentare di Amicizia tra l’Italia e la Repubblica Ceca, istituita a febbraio 2019, presieduta da On. Francesca Galizia. Era presente anche il presidente della Sezione Bilaterale di Amicizia Italia-Repubblica Ceca dell’Unione Interparlamentare (IPU), il senatore Gianmauro Dell’Olio. L’obiettivo dell’incontro informale era di conoscere i rappresentanti dei gruppi e informarsi delle loro iniziative previste per il prossimo periodo.
Durante l’incontro informale si sono svolte discussioni sulle possibilità di rafforzare il dialogo e le relazioni bilaterali tra la Repubblica Ceca e l’Italia, compresi i contatti con il Gruppo interparlamentare Italia – Rep.Ceca presso la Camera dei Deputati del Parlamento della Repubblica Ceca, e sulle iniziative per intensificare la cooperazione nei settori del commercio, del turismo, della cultura e dell’istruzione. E´ stata una riunione introduttiva, che dovrebbe essere seguita nel prossimo futuro da altre opportunità per sviluppare discussioni e pianificare attività future volte ad approfondire le relazioni tra i due paesi.
